At this function, my responsibilities were:- Take command over the group in the absence of the squad leader. While no junior or senior communication NCO's were available at the battalion (+- 600 persons), I took a giant leap as a second year communications student and kept the communications department up and running for 1.5 year. I was was working on a project called R-matching, at Staf-CLAS (Staff of the Royal Netherlands Army). In my role I was responsible for the spread and presentation of a special hardware device for several hundreds of colleagues. With this hardware it is possible to work on the intranet from anywhere in the world.

As a soldier it is my duty to: deliver military assistance to the competent authority for maintaining public order and security, deliver military assistance in disaster relief, provide military aid to military transports, provide military support to units of the Dutch armed forces or NATO-troops, provide military support to civilian authorities in major.

For this housing organisation, I wrote my bachelor thesis to solve a communication-related problem. I focussed on both social, and digital media and used scientific data, both acadamic and quantitative, to solve the problem and to write my thesis. This was in order to graduate at the University of Applied Sciences Leiden.In addition, I achieved work.
