As Controls Center Manager in the PEPS Division of TxDOT, support division staff to procure engineering, architectural and surveying services for transportation projects through professional services contracts. Ensure compliance and report on consistency in contract selection, negotiation and management. Develop and maintain Tableau Dashboards for performance measurement and assist with continuous improvement projects regarding processes, services and staff resources.

Lead the development of Annual Portfolio Achievement Report (APAR) which focuses on the evaluation of statewide performance. Managed improvements and maintenance of TxDOT's Project Tracker, a web based reporting tool that mapped and tracked over 15,000 transportation projects. Contributed to the Quarterly Review Process (QRP) to monitor the agency's planning, budgeting and programming performance within the Unified Transportation Program (UTP) window.

Supported the Commission, Administration, Districts, and Divisions in development of the Unified Transportation Program (UTP); oversight of Texas transportation projects and authorization in construction, development, planning and public involvement activities.

In absence of division director, provided direction in guidance in daily operations for the Travel and Information Division and staff. Managed all fiscal resources to include operational, information technolgy and construction budget for the 13 Travel Information Centers across the state. Developed the Legislative Appropriation Requests and Information Resources Strategic Plan. Managed all human resource functions for the division. Communicated department and division policies and state regulations and directives to internal and external tourism partners including other state agencies, local governments and the travel industry. Worked with the Governor's Office regarding the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the tourism Action Plan. Coordinated with the Communication Division to manage the advertising campaigns such as Don't Mess with Texas and Litter Prevention Programs.

Supported the Commission, Administration, Districts and Divisions in meeting the annual letting schedule. Lead the staff working to authorize federal and state funds through project letting and award. Prepared cashflow forecast estimating letting volume in all categories of work including the use of non traditional funding. Tracked and managed the use of federal apportionments, allocations, rescissions and obligation authority used in guiding the departments construction program.
