Dance has been always been a big part of my life, it's my comfort zone. By going to a college a bit far from home my goal is to get to know myself through a new lens and to try new things without expectations holding me down. I have many interests and because of this, I've decided to major in Psychology. This field holds many jobs that I'm interested in. Communicating with others is a skill needed for many jobs and earning a Psychology degree will help me strengthen that skill. Already I've built on this skill by teaching dance at a local dance studio located in Queens. I've also interned as a social media marketer for a summer dance intensive called Young Dancemakers Company. IO psychology and real estate both catch my attention when picking a career to explore. But I also enjoy editing, filming, graphic design, social media marketing, etc. I would like a job that encourages creativity daily and is bound to give me a different experience day to day. I am also open to career fields not mentioned above. I am still trying to find what job is the right fit for me. In the meantime, I will be shadowing and interning in careers of my current interests.
