Work with the World Bank's the Mind, Behavior, and Development Unit (eMBeD) to implement the research project 'a behavioral diagnosis to identify barriers to women’s access and participation in forestry, agriculture and other REDD+ related activities in Nepal':- Conducted extensive desk review for situation analysis on women’s access to forestry, agriculture, and other REDD+ related activities in Nepal.- Contributed on designing research methodologies including to finalize fieldwork tools and guideline, and sample selection to collect empirical evidences through vendor.- Contributed on data analysis and analytical study report preparation.

Key Responsibilities: - Designed research methodologies to assess the status of urban disaster preparedness with focus on private sector engagement in Nepal. - Established partnership and relation with sectoral government agencies, experts and local communities as part of evidence collection. - Analyzed evidences and prepared an analytical study report for VSO Nepal.2. Team Leader, Prakriti Resources Centre (PRC), Nepal for study on 'Localizing Climate Actions in Nepal: The Role of Local Governments in Implementing National Climate Change Policy and Nationally Determined Contribution'. Key Responsibilities: - Designed research methodologies including tools for policy analysis, expert consultation, local leaders consultation, focus group discussion (virtual), and literature review; and led the overall process. - Analyzed the data and prepared the discussion paper. - Facilitated the training (virtual) on 'National Climate Change Policy and Nationally Determined Contribution of Nepal to women group and civil society organizations'. - Facilitated the national validation workshop on 'Localizing National Climate Change Policy and Nationally Determined Contribution in Nepal'.3. Lead Author, National Democratic Institute (NDI), Nepal to write the policy review article on 'Impact of Climate change: Dalit community at Serious Risk'4. Lead Author, ForestAction Nepal, Nepal to write the policy brief on 'Enhancing climate finance accountability: Lessons from local action research in Nepal'.

Led an independent study on 'assessing impact of community forestry on nation economy': - Designed research methodologies to assess impacts of protected areas and community forestry in national economy in Nepal.- Established partnership and relation with sectoral government agencies, experts and local communities as part of evidence collection.- Analyzed evidences and prepared an analytical study report for NPC.

Be the overall in-charge of the Climate Change Fragility (CCF) Project in Nepal focusing on comprehensive and cross-sectoral responses to tackle the destabilizing effects of climate change. My major responsibility is to lead the team on 1) Planning, coordinating, monitoring and reporting of the project activities; 2) Coordination and communication; 3) People , budget and partnership management; 4) Knowledge management; and 5) Compliance and feedback so as to achieve the project objective to improve the resilience of communities to climate-fragility risk by strengthening inclusion and relationships, local government’s capacities and planning processes, and sustainable livelihoods.

Contribute on designing work streams (projects) on multi facets climate change adaptation and policies collaborating with at least nine sectoral ministries; actively engage and contribute on initiatives of sectoral ministries and departments on preparing different policy instruments such as National Adaptation Plan (NAP) preparation process, and Vulnerability and Risk Assessment (VARA)Framework based on IPCC AR5; provide technical back stopping support to finalize and publish ground breaking 'National Climate Change Impact Survey (NCCIS) in Nepal; be the team player for knowledge synchronization and management, provide technical backstopping to develop policies contributing to build climate resilient communities.

Ensure overall programme management of Okhaldhunga cluster (seven districts) including implementation, monitoring and result/accountability management; provide strategic and operational direction to the implementing agencies (lAs), local partners, and GoN line agencies; be the team player and contribute on MSFP knowledge products specially on climate change resilience and sustainable forest management.

Provide technical advice, backstopping, and coordination of MSFP implementing agencies including District Forest Office (DFO), Non-government Organisations (NGOs), and private sector in three major outcome areas of MSFP: 1) forestry and climate change, 2) gender, poverty and social equity (GEPSE), and 3) forest based enterprise and value chain.

Be the team player to design and conduct the evidence based policy researches focusing on issues of climate change mitigation (REDD+) and adaptation, community based forest management, natural resource and landscape management governance, community livelihood, community right to resources, and capacity development in Nepal; lead and mentor the research team to conduct the field-research work; engage on climate change mitigation and adaptation, and forestry policy process; be the focal point and lead overall research activities for adaptation, climate resilience, and landscape specially Chure (the youngest and most fragile landscape in Nepal) management theme in organisation.

conduct and document the designed evidence based policy researches focusing on issues of community based forest management, governance, community livelihood, community right to resources, capacity development, and climate change mitigation (REDD+) and adaptation in Nepal; support to design and facilitate evidence based forest policy dialogues; present the research findings to stakeholders; prepare research reports; support on preparation of discussion papers and circulate to stakeholders

coordinate and director business development service providers (BDSPs) to design and create forest based enterprises in mid-western and far western region of Nepal; technical support to establish forest based micro-enterprise to prepare second generation operational plan (SGOP) and business plan; conduct trainings related to sustainable forest and non-timber forest product (NTFP) management, forest resource utilisation and forest based enterprise development in CFUGs; provide technical guidance to BDSPs on proposal writing.

lead the team to design and prepare program proposals, present proposals and reports to the donor organisation, lead the team for program implementation and budget management; support on report preparation and program documentation.
