Working with Boston based tech startup - “Point Road Solution” for a consultancy project was a great opportunity for me to apply my both technical and business knowledge together. I and my multicultural team worked with company's Founder Mr Andrew Bennet, and Business Expert Mr Justin Manley to evaluate the technology and business opportunity for Point Road Solutions. Key tasks accomplished were:• Evaluated total addressable market needs/potential and size. • Understood market segmentation (e.g military, commercial, civilian government etc.).• Understood competing technologies/products.• Designed and evaluated different business models (service, sales, etc.) for highest economic return.• Formulated launch action plan for entering the anti-drone industry.

After my remarkable performance in Analytical and Logical reasoning tests, I was invited to serve as a visiting faculty to teach quantitative methods and logical reasoning fundamentals as well as advanced chapters at IMS Ahmedabad. I utilized this opportunity to act as a mentor and improve my communication skills. This also helped me build a strong professional network with a diverse set of people coming from the different background.During the same period of time, I was working on my technical project in the automotive sector and hence, this part-time work helped me to explore the world beyond the technical field. Having a passion for applying theoretical knowledge to solve real-world problems, I started my internship at Universal Tools which is leading manufacturer of woodworking tools in India. I applied my mechanical design knowledge and manufacturing concepts along with the problem-solving skill to optimize the design of various woodworking tools which in turn reduced the raw material cost.A few of the important tasks completed were:1. Development 3D models of existing wood-working tools.2. Understanding of various processes of manufacturing tools.3. Optimization of woodworking tools design with the consideration of manufacturing processes that company is capable of performing.
