My primary interest lies in membrane biophysics, which studies the various aspects of membrane deformation and several other physical and chemical aspects of lipid bilayers in the presence of intrinsically disordered proteins. I am also quite intrigued by the biology of the ion channels and the complexity of their working mechanism. My other interests lie in the reconstitution of biological systems. Lately, I have gotten my hands on molecular simulation tools and concepts from classical mechanics and statistical mechanics to understand and explain complex biological systems in a probabilistic approach.
