I have broad based experience of working as a Geologist in the oil & gas industry for over 30 years. During my long career I have worked on various applications of geology in exploration and development of oil & gas reservoirs including outcrop mapping, field development, static models building and reserves estimation.I am skilled in field development through intelligent use of sequence stratigraphy driven geological models. I have expertise in brown field re-development through re-entry drilling. In the last few years I have got extensive exposure to QC of static models and horizontal well placement. I have good experience of interpreting open and cased hole logs and using that information in work-over planning and field development.I have worked in different basins in India (offshore and onshore) and in the Middle East, both in carbonates and clastics in National Oil Companies ONGC, KOC and ADNOC. I have worked in the largest clastic reservoir in the World (Greater Burgan Field in Kuwait) and in the most complex carbonate oil and gas fields in Abu Dhabi, UAE.I am software savvy having used Petrel for more than 15 years. I have worked in Geographix during my stint in Kuwait and I am also familiar with Cyclolog for sequence analysis. I have worked extensively on evaluation of reserves in Abu Dhabi fields using SPE PRMS guidelines. I have been working in multinational, multi-disciplinary teams for long and I have learnt the art of working as a part of a team. I have published and presented quite a number of papers in international conferences and publications.
