Head of the Engineering team responsible for New product strategy and also executing design, development and launch of new products in Diesel Engine domain for off-highway applications.Along the years instituted and developed capability building of the Engine group with strategic relationship with RICARDO consultants. In the process various expertise in the areas of Combustion, Lubrication, Crank Train system, Fuel and Air/Exhaust systems were developed in R&D and Manufacturing lines were modernized. Was the Project Leader of Engines for the Technology transfer from SISU Diesel for the JV with Valtra Tractor, Finland. In the process for the first time Water cooled Engine were introduced in Eicher Tractors. The Finnish Design diesel engine was indigenised in record one year time. Was one of the key members responsible for introducing and implementing the CAD/CAE system in Eicher Engineering Center
