• Responsible for procurement & timely delivery of Telecom Infra material like Towers, DG, Shelter, Battery Bank, Rectifier, AC, Electronics, Antennas, etc. required for Cell sites roll out & for maintenance of 2500 cell sites. Around 150 new cell sites are rolled-out every month spread all across UPE circle. • Responsible for contract finalization for Civil/ electrical/ fabrication/TI installation works required at new cell sites roll out (approx. 150 cell sites every month) as well as in maintenance of around 3500 cell sites. To continuously work on contractors identification, negotiation, performance evaluation as per feedback from Project Management, improvement review so as to keep pool of best performing contractors.• Responsible for negotiation & timely issuance of maintenance & services contracts required for cell sites/BSCs/MSCs. • Single point contact for Project Management and O&M team for all the Material, maintenance & services requirement for cell sites roll out & for existing 3500 cell sites. • Floating of inquiry, analysis & selection of vendors, negotiation with vendor, commercial concurrence, preparation of comparative Bid Analysis, and preparation of contract document and placing of purchase order.• Complete import mgt. for all the overseas consignment. Follow up with freight forwarder, clearing agents& vendors for timely clearance of materials & delivery to final destination.• Performance evaluation of Vendors, Contractors.
