Humanitarian response including earthquake response and recovery: Hands on experience of directly working on humanitarian response including but not limited to activities related to emergency response, relief management and distribution and recovery activities following Nepal Earthquake 2015Disaster Risk Management and government mechanism: Knowledge of functioning and scope of District Disaster Management Committee (DDMC). Experience of working with the committee in Makawanpur district and preparing annual reports Education in emergency: Experience of handling activities related to set up Temporary Learning Centers (TLC), construction of semi permanent and permanent structures in schools, school WASH facilities improvement/construction including Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) facilities following Nepal Earthquake 2015WASH in emergency and social mobilization: Reconstruction of WASH facilities including taking stock of the situation, collection and verification of data, handling local grievances and reconstruction of facilities following Nepal earthquake 2015, act as a focal person to restore Open Defecation Free (ODF) zone in then five Village Development Committees of Makawanpur district Monitoring and evaluation: Can ensure effective project monitoring including risk furcating and formulating mitigation planPrior experience of handling Plan International Nepal funded projects: Familiar with Plan International's priorities and values in the course of implementing projects Partnership and networking: Hands-on experience of working closely with local and provincial government, familiar with local policymaking process and gaps Project management: Experience of designing and implementing projects including setting priorities, forecasting risks and preparing risk mitigation plansChild safeguarding, gender inclusion and social mobilization: Demonstrated experience in strengthening at sub-national and local level to provide continuum of services to children in need of child protection, implement project in line with gender inclusion perspective; have a decade long experience in social mobilization and community engagements
