The Health Informatics Community under KUOSC is an open platform inviting stakeholders from health, IT, and research sectors to collaborate on implementing digital health solutions in Nepal's healthcare. As a community coordinator, my role involves:- To aware students and enthusiasts about the emerging open-source softwarebeing used in the healthcare sector, including its applications and scope.- Supporting research and innovation initiatives in the digital health sector.- Leading workshops, bootcamps, and facilitating discussions on digital health solutions.- Facilitating collaboration with GIZ Nepal to strategize and implement initiatives for advancing digital health solutions within the community.

KU HackFest 2023, organized by the Kathmandu University Computer Club (KUCC), is an international-level hackathon dedicated to nurturing creativity, innovation, and problem-solving skills among students and tech enthusiasts.As the Marketing Lead for KU HackFest 2023, I collaborated closely with the other leading teams and hackfest lead to drive participation and engagement. Together, we achieved remarkable success:- Successfully attracted 499 participants from across the globe, exceeding registration targets.- Secured sponsorship totaling $1,736 to support event logistics and prize offerings, enhancing participant experience.- Positioned KU HackFest 2023 as a platform for innovation and talent showcase, driving global participation.
