• Creating Tablespaces and add datafiles or resizing datafiles• Deleting Expired,Obsolete backupset using RMAN• Knowledge of Active Standby feature of Data guard.• Applying database patches using Opatch Utility.• Worked on Database Upgradation extensively from 10gR2 to 11gR2.• Performing Pre-upgrade backup steps and post upgrade steps• Experience in cloning the databases through RMAN utility.• Experience in Configuring and managing backup through RMAN utility.• Experience in Hot/Cold Backup and Recover the Database when required.• Exporting and Importing at databases level, schema level and object level using Datapump and traditional Exp & Imp utilities.• Experience in Oracle RDBMS software Installations and Database Creation using DBCA and Manually.• Applying database patches using Opatch Utility.• Proactively monitoring the condition of the database and taking preventive or corrective actions, as required• Creating users with restricted access with required privileges.• Managing schema objects, such as tables, indexes, and views.• Creating DB Links.• Making database backups and performing recovery when necessary.• Good in Troubleshooting of the day to day activities like space alerts, networking issues etc• Configure physical standby database.• Switchover from primary to physical standby database and physical standby to primary database.• Converting standby database in read write mode for testing purpose. (Snapshot standby database).• Configure physical standby database to logical standby database.• Clearing Redo gap between Primary & Standby database.• Experience on 11g Active Data guard.• Put database in Archive log mode in RAC Environment.
