Preservation Team Lead
Current A competent professional with more than 25 years of extensive experience in the field of Preservation & Mechanical Maintenance in Oil & Gas and Petrochemicals Industries in India and overseas locations at both onshore & offshore. Presently, working as a Preservation Team Lead with Petrofac International Ltd, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. Currently, involve in overall Preservation of the Project equipment, Bulk materials & Capital Spares of Sakhalin Energy Project (Sakhalin Energy Investment Company, Sakhalinsk, Russia), from its storage phase through site installation phase until commissioning and start up. Involve in Planning and Execution of Major Re-Preservation program for all the Critical Packages/equipment (e.g. Gas turbine, Gas Compression Package, Utility Air Compressors, GDU/GRU Package, LP Flare Recovery Package, Deaerator Package, Chemical Inj. Packages, High Energy Pumps, Capital & Operational Spares of the equipment etc.)Leading to preservation team and monitoring overall preservation activities performed by preservation engineers and sub-contractor workers for all Project equipment & materials stored in warehouse and at site (OSBL, ISBL), ensuring that initial preservation is being consistently maintained from supplier works through Fabrication, Installation, Commissioning and final handover to client. Also to make sure that the preservation records and check sheets are being maintained accordingly. Guiding & leading to preservation engineers to make sure that all equipment are being preserved as per vendor instruction/recommendation or project preservation procedure and are being handed over to commissioning team in well preserved condition. Involve generating Project Completion System check sheet or preservation record sheets in line with vendor instruction/recommendations and project requirements.
