My Role was Country Transition Manager. The TransitionManager was responsible for the overall management of the Transition effort. Transition beingdefined in this instance the effort required to “on board” the service, including the setup ofService Delivery in all EMEA countries. Contribution: When I first joined the Sony account the customer relationship with IBM was veryFragile, despite this, I managed to develop a good solid working relationship with the CustomerProject Manager. I successfully transitioned the following 4 countries, within theRequired timescales: Austria, Belgium, Poland & Russia. This was done through attending weeklycustomer reviews, working to the project plans ensuring all IBM actions were performed in a timelyManner, identifying any deviations to the plan as early as possible. During my time at Sony,I saw a fragile relationship turn into a positive one, I feel I had a strong input in thisRelationship change. At the end of Dec 2008, the Sony team were given an award for their effortsin getting the "Big Deal" finally signed - The final pre-signing PRL came in at $16.64m (giving aNet new Revenue of $8.9m) over 5 years with a GP above 35%.
