CurrentGather functional and technical specifications from users for development of new projects and reports. Develop ASP.NET web and console applications. Write database routines using stored procedures. Write SQL queries for ad-hoc reporting. Create SSRS reports using Visual Studio and Report Builder. Create SQL tables and queries to maintain the company website with current data and image content. Perform SQL database backups and restore (as needed). Research EDI discrepancies and correct the issues - if needed communicate with customers and vendors to get the issues fixed in timely manner. Modify EDI maps (MPL macros) based on new or existing customer/vendor requirements. Setup new user accounts and security on Linux OS and Infor SX.e ERP. Understand customer requirements and develop custom report screens for the Infor SX.e ERP using Progress 4GL. Write queries in Progress 4GL to perform mass updates to Progress 4GL database and write ad-hoc reports. Assist other team members with Progress 4GL database administrative duties. Help local and remote users with system and/or Infor SX.e ERP related problems. Recommend new software applications to enhance company operations.
