Joined this manufacturer and global distributor of diagnostic ultrasound imaging systems after an ownership change and led the company’s team of hardware (RF/Digital/DSP), software, algorithm and advanced development professionals; successfully restoring focus and a sense of direction enabling the team to release a significant product upgrade and improve stalled sales.

Co-founded this company to develop breakthrough catheter-carried, wearable ultrasonic sensor and digital signal processing based products for cardiovascular and urologic monitoring. Drove the development and clinical validation of an ambulatory incontinence monitor using SBIR phases I & II leading to a strategic acquisition.

Developed the two commercially successful Class II products this privately-held medical device start-up produced; with a portable ultrasonic imaging-based bladder volume measurement instrument becoming the standard of care for bladder management, generating several hundred million dollars in revenues to date. It is currently being sold globally as the BladderScanner.
