I am currently working in the EASeL and OMRON Laboratory on the research of human interaction in robotic swarms. I am doing the accelerated BS-MS program with my Bachelors in Mechatronics Engineering and minor in Electrical Engineering, and my Masters in Mechanical Engineering. Developing new algorithms for robotic swarms on Neglect Benevolence on the lag time of the operator interacting with the swarm and the robots deciding if they should follow the operator. I collaborated and conducted several research projects in the ARMM Laboratory on the Directed Energy Deposition (DED) system using the Optomec 850M LENS (Metal 3D Printing) machine and worked with NIST on powder flow measurement experiments. Successfully reached the goal to create better solutions for the additive manufacturing field.

  • Wittenstein Cyber Motor U.S.
    Cybermotor Intern
    Wittenstein Cyber Motor U.S. May 2019 - Aug 2019
I created memorable experiences as being a mechatronics engineering intern at Wittenstein. My tasks in this position were to code servo motors that would be used in the manufacturing, automotive, and aerospace industry. I finished several projects in this position which helped me gain more knowledge about the opportunities in my field of study. One project I worked on was that I built 7 demos for the trade shows and a few were sent out to distributors. I had to redesign the demos from the normal standard size to a smaller models which made them easier to fit in a pelican case, and feasible to travel with the equipment which helped save money.Another project I worked on was created a troubleshoot code for the servo motors while working with some of Rockwell automation equipment. The code I created was to have the servo motors automatically go to the standard speed which was in RPMs, but in order for me to set it in RPMs, I had to convert from Hex and Bits which was something I learned at this internship. Learning about Hex, Bits, DC, and AC voltage was a great opportunity for me to understand my field of study. The second code was the troubleshooting code which was if the servo motor was going to fast, then the code will automatically reset the system and the servo motors will go back to the standard speed it was set for the specific operation. As being a former intern for Wittenstein has taught me a lot from understanding how electrical and mechanical engineering work together in several industries. The staff was wonderful and they gave me the opportunity to use and improve my skills in different platforms.
