While attending university, any free time was spent in the pursuit of knowledge and experience at the international cost consultancy firm Davis Langdon. He graduated with a degree in Quantity Surveying/ Cost Engineering with the cum laude achievement award.His first full-time employment was at a national construction company in order to gain experience in the construction processes and methodology involved in on site property development.The journey in property development then continued by joining AECOM, the largest multidisciplinary consulting development firm in the world. Here his skills were fine-tuned and the experience gained on national and international property development cannot be replicated or matched. In the process registration with the South African Council for the Quantity Surveying Profession as a Professional Quantity Surveyor/Cost engineer was obtained. His drive and passion for empowerment of the future generations led him to lecture first and second year students at the Durban University of Technology.Diren then followed his true calling as an entrepreneur and ventured out to form the DREAM brand which consists of turnkey property solution and investment companies. Today he uses his vast experience and vision to strategically create ecosystems that enable return on investment for private and public sector stakeholders.
