Started to work in Sydney’s booming construction business to save up money for travelling the world. After a handful of one day jobs I got positioned at PBG (Pattersons Building Group pty ltd) where I contributed to the modernisation of the NSW School of Languages for 4,5 months. Upon completion, I went together with the Site Manager to help complete construction of a retirement village for the remaining 6 weeks of my stay.Altogether a very interesting experience. I’ve learned loads about the construction industry and realised my short term financial goal. Ready to explore more of this world!

I’ve done farm work in the beautiful, hot countryside of Australia. My main job was to pack oranges, mandarins, lemons (citrus fruits) and avocados. Once packed we prepared them for transport. Other jobs were grading the fruit and various jobs outside in the field. Truly a beautiful experience!

I am currently working on my graduation project at Jan Zandbergen BV - World-Wide Quality in Meat in Veenendaal, The Netherlands. My project is about the replenishment of the two freezing cells. The goal is to develop a strategy that will help to use the two storage facilities as efficient and effective as possible, keeping the quality standards and regulations in mind . Once proven successful, the strategy can be implemented for all the storage facilities. This project is part of a three-year optimization plan of the logistics department.
