I am the Chief Underwriting Officer at HDI Global for the short-tail lines of business. HDI Global is one of the world's leading commercial insurers. I have key responsibilities in property, engineering and marine underwriting as well as risk consulting.As an integral part of HDI Global's Executive Management Team, I aim to position our company as a 'Partner in Transformation'. I believe in catalysing meaningful change and supporting our clients in their own transformation in the face of climate change, extreme weather events, digitalisation, artificial intelligence, cyber threats and new mobility. My commitment on LinkedIn revolves around underwriting excellence and its role in driving customer value. Natural catastrophes, climate change and the adaptation of our risk assessments and mitigation measures in response to them are topics of deep interest to me and I welcome the opportunity to discuss these challenges.
