Having graduated as a Molecular Cell Biotechnologist from Wageningen University, I started out to apply fluid stress to mouse kidney cells at the Netherlands Cancer Institute as a PhD student. Also, I successfully designed software to automate the statistical analysis of experimental data. After three years, the project was stopped and I took a break from science. Having re-evaluated my goals in life, I am currently looking for an exciting (PhD-)project. Even though cheese is delicious and selling it is a lot of fun, I miss being able to contribute to the advancement of human knowledge, having thought-provoking conversations with colleagues and attending research seminars.
