Thank your for taking your time to review my credentials. I am a physical therapist with specialties in sports medicine, orthopedics and manual therapy. I treat a variety of conditions that include post-operative and non-operative orthopedic and sports injuries, complex shoulder, knee and hip conditions, and cervical, thoracic, lumbar and sacroiliac joint pathologies. My interest in physical therapy sparked while serving in the United States Army, where my passion for body mechanics and physiology began. After leaving the military, I began my education in physical therapy at the Hogeschool van Utrecht in the Netherlands, where I graduated Cum Laude and published a paper on SacroIliac joint diagnostic testing. I spent the majority of my career working for Howard Head Sports Medicine Centers. During this time, I served many roles to include, clinic manager of the Howard Head Beaver Creek clinic, Director of Shoulder Rehabilitation for Dr. Peter Millett at the Steadman Clinic, Director of Quality of Assurance, Director of the Howard Head, Denver, and Director of Vail Physical Therapy and Shoulder Rehabilitation at the Vail Valley Medical Center. In 2016, I moved to Portland, Maine, where I spearheaded opening a sports medicine physical therapy clinic for Maine Medical Partners. I strive to improve the field of physical therapy by mentoring students and residents while working on my PhD. I lecture on shoulder, knee and hip topics and have developed several rehabilitation programs for shoulder, knee and hip conditions. I continued to publish papers in peer reviewed journals and I am a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and American Society of Shoulder and Elbow Therapists.
