- Direct and coordinate all plant functions including Manufacturing, Materials, Production Control, Purchasing, Quality Assurance, Planning, Human Resources, Accounting, Mfg. Engineering and Environmental, Health & Safety, Operational Excellence to assure common direction toward plant goals- Lead the plant transformation process in order to ensure comprehensive implementation of Operational Excellence (OEDP)- Guide and support the plant EH&S program in improvements, investigations and corrective actions to meet and exceed Federal laws and IR standards and policies - Guide and support the plant quality system in procedures and controls to improve overall customer satisfaction, DPPM, first pass yield and warranty results - Be proactive and responsive to all facets of customer satisfaction including delivery, schedule changes and special instructions - Guide and support plant maintenance, facilities and manufacturing engineering improvements, process improvements, facility improvements and capital expenditures - Guide and support plant resources in meeting material and labor productivity plans - Direct the submittal of the plant’s Annual Operating Plan and business’s financial forecasts and response plans - Direct and guide the long term product strategy for the manufacturing business - Maintain a positive rapport with all levels of the organization in order to foster and promote a diverse and inclusive work environment, high levels of morale, and high employee engagement. - Collaborate with all levels of the organization to insure alignment of goals and progress towards them along with short term and long term needs and plans - Lead and support the development of plant employees and plant succession planning activities

- Drive and promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement in the organization- Develop the Kautex Quality Strategy in line with the Kautex Vision and Strategy- Act as appointed Management and Customer Representative for Quality Management at corporate level- Ensure that main processes needed within the BOS are established, implemented and continuously improved- Manage the Kautex key indicators transformation progress, ppm and QPR (Quality Performance Rate), report to the Executive management- Promote Customer satisfaction/success and manage quality-related issues with customers at corporate level

-P&L responsibility of the site together with all commercial, production and support functions whilst focusing on customer care and production efficiency.-business development of the site by supervising and improving all processes necessary for the efficient manufacturing of appropriate quantities of high-quality goods on schedule.technical and organisational optimisation of processes, workflows and structures at the factory with the aim of continuously improving quality and decreasing costs-pursuit of continuous improvement, lean manufacturing practices and driving group wide initiatives.-guarantee the punctual supply of products of appropriate quality and quantity to automobile customers at the factory using state of the art methods like TPS, Value Stream Mapping and Lean Production.-Drawing-up of annual budget and resource plans together with the CFO taking responsibility for their realisation.-build longlasting and stable relations with key customers.-take immediate actions if the agreed margins get under pressure both on the customers side as well as on internal efficiency.-continuous monitoring to ensure that plans are adhered to. Responsibility for implementing corrective measures if nominal/actual deviations occur.-coordination of new product launches taking quality, quantity and deadline into account. Immediate implementation of corrective measures should deviations from planning be identified and monitoring the implementation of necessary remedial actions.-planning and implementation of new working methods in production and the continuous adjustment and improvement of structural and process organisation consistent with the site’s own production system, with the aim of promoting teamwork and improving factory performance.
