Students of different levels take part in the transition class who, due to circumstances, can’t participate in a regular classroom setting. Within this special education environment I worked closely with parents, schools and home care organisations. The students received individual counseling whilst working through their personal plans and schedules. These plans are related to personal achievements, such asbeing more social, working with learning disadvantages and bridging gaps. At the same time all school subjects are incorporated into the curriculum of the students.The students attend the transition class for a limited period.Class attendance is no longer necessary when their personal and academic skills are sufficient. These students return to their old class, or to a more suitable class within Stichting Kristallis or another school.Activities:o Individual student counseling o Developing specific individual planning for a studento Being the confidential contact for students and parentso Teaching all subjects, except for practical classesLevels: VMBO- B to HAVO.
