Matsushita Battery Belgium (MBBE), Tessenderlo.Brand name: PANASONIC.Manufacturer of alkaline & rechargeable batteries.Development & manufacturer of rechargeable battery-packs for various applications (mainly for mobile phone: OEM customers (Nokia, Alcatel, Siemens, Philips, Panasonic, Sagem...) & other lower volume markets: DECT phone, power tools, emergency lighting, shaver, electrical vehicles...).Project Transfers Management to low-cost economies (mass production).• Supervising operations (Gniezno, Poland – Braga, Portugal - Oradea & Sfântu Gheorghe, Romania) >50 % travel.• Project management: according to WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) & Milestones (MS Office Project).• Organize transfer, installation & adjustment of all assembly lines / machinery / tooling.• Determine & implement training-programs.• Manage that all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met.• Supervise quality management: quality control, assurance & improvement.-- Assure product & process requirements: measuring statistical variability & process capability study (Cp-Cpk).-- Monitoring the processes: Statistical Process Control (SPC).• Counsel during external quality audits before qualification (project release).• Continuous improvement and operational excellence (Lean Manufacturing, Q-circle, Daily Feedback Team, Kaizen, PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Action), 5S, organize flexible organization, J.I.T. management…).Project Management (from prototyping until qualified product).• Counsel to R&D: DFA / DFM, FMEA & PEER review.• Calculate / determine of labour-cost (by Time Study & PMTS: Predetermined Motion Time System).• Define the required machine & tooling capacity & edit the budget.• Organize test-runs & pre-production runs.• Edit work/process-instructions (acc. to ISO 9001).• Managing purchasing of Non-Product Related (NPR) goods and services.
