CurrentThe Arizona Industrial Development Authority (AzIDA) is a nonprofit corporation and political subdivision of the State of Arizona, formed by the Arizona Finance Authority. AzIDA's strategic objectives, as embodied by statue and adopted by the AzIDA Board of Directors are to (1) lower financing costs for commercial enterprises by improving access to the capital markets, thereby providing increased liquidity, efficiency, and economies of scale, (2) to make single family housing more affordable for low and moderate-income Arizona families by developing, implementing and promoting the best single-family mortgage loan program with down payment assistance in country and (3) maximize the annual transfer of unrestrictive revenues to the State of Arizona. AzIDA is entirely self-sustaining, all strategic objectives are accomplished without the assistance of any public dollars. In additional to the role of Executive Director, since June 2014 Dirk has been the Program Administrator for the HOME+Plus home buyer down payment assistance program. Under Dirk's direction more than 35,000 new Arizona homebuyers have used the HOME+Plus program to achieve homeownership.
