Dirk Van Gestel MD PhD, is Medical Director of Oncology and Academic Director of the Radiotherapy department at the Institut Jules Bordet, Hôpital Universitaire de Bruxelles (H.U.B.). He is also professor Radiation-Oncology at the ULBDirk is president of the College of Oncology and the Belgian Hadron Group, secretary of the Belgian Society of Cancer Research, member of ESTRO, BeSTRO, BARO, college of Radiotherapy, Flemish task group Head and Neck Cancer, different EORTC Groups (ao HNC group), European Head and Neck Society (EHNS), etc… He has more than 70 articles, 102 national and 71 international oral presentations and 10 proctorships/workshops.
