Sometimes life comes full circle and this is definitely one of those times. I am very excited to be returning to Pantex to finish out my IT career, as a remote Enterprise Architect. I look forward to reconnecting and working with many former colleagues once again.

Lead Enterprise Architect responsible for all aspects of design, life cycle management and strategic planning. Developed 5 year architecture planning process which laid out process for long-term vision, strategic roadmaps and technology roadmaps in order to address lifecycle and future requirements. Integrated process with project portfolio processes to ensure that planned activities are prioritized against customer requests. Additionally, developed architecture governance program known as Architecture Design Review Process. Process was integrated into project, business continuity, change management and cyber security processes to ensure quality designs.Team lead for Enterprise Architecture Office – comprised of technical leads from all technology disciplines. This team served as the governance authority for new efforts as well as the Change Advisory Board for operational change management issues.ITIL Change Manager responsible for all aspects of the Change/Configuration Management Process. Worked with management team to create a fully electronic ITIL based change process in place of a paper-based process. Provided full traceability of changes to configuration items via relationships. Additionally integrated Enterprise Architecture and CAB functions with Problem Management to determine root cause, contributing factors and corrective actions.

Operational manager responsible for full time network/systems engineers. Areas of managerial responsiblity included UNIX, Firewall, Windows, Mainframe, Radio, Novell system engineers. Responsible for technical oversight of employees and associated project deliverables. Also responsible for human resource issues, career development, organizational planning and team building.

Senior AIX Systems Administrator and Functional Architect.Responsibilities include Lead System Administrator for enterprise class AIX environment supporting mission essential applications, database environments and core services. Implemented enterprise class storage area network, technical lead for multiple large enterprise projects. Also served as enterprise firewall administrator and played a lead role in developing Defense in Depth strategies to better protect networks.

Lead administrator for IBM RS/6000 SP2 AIX systems supporting mission essential applications, databases and core services. Technical project manager for small to medium sized architectural projects. Coordinated the work of 4 to 10 other subject matter experts. Developed new concepts and presented to Sr. Management.

Amarillo, Texas Area

System Administrator for IBM RS/6000 SP2, involved in all aspects of design, installation, and on-going administration. Team member on multiple projects including infrastructure redesigns, Peoplesoft upgrades, secure e-mail between DOE sites, server consolidation, backup/recovery, database upgrades etc.Also administered 2500 user Novell Groupwise e-mail system and E-Directory infrastructure.

Garden City, Kansas

Network administrator responsible for all aspects of information technology at a regional accounting firm. Duties included day to day maintenance and administration for 50 node Novell 3.11 network, pc applications, accounting and business applications. Also developed custom applictions for use by the staff.
