In my role providing technical writing services at Terma Inc., I support the company's innovative work in the aerospace, defense, and security sector, wherein we support customers and partners all over the world. With more than 1,600 committed employees worldwide, we develop and manufacture mission-critical products and solutions that help to keep people safe, both in peaceful times and in times of conflict.In the past, I have created and managed technical documentation and content strategy, often for internal software engineering projects and initiatives. With over 15 years of experience in technical writing, editing, publishing, and UX/UI design, I have a passion to deliver clear, concise, and user-friendly content that supports the development and delivery of innovative solutions for organizations including corporations, universities, and both military and intelligence services. Some of my achievements include designing, proposing, and building knowledge hubs that reduce the time it takes teams to locate and utilize technical information and designing and publishing newsletters to improve communications both within our group and with partners across the enterprise. In addition, I won an international journalism award for technical writing; had many technical articles published in magazines domestically and internationally; and written (and sometimes ghost-written or co-authored) papers for the DoD, Congress, NATO, USAF, MDA, NSA, CIA, as well as Fidelity Investments, JP Morgan Chase & Company, Northeastern University, and both T-Mobile and GoDaddy. I use a variety of tools and platforms, such as MS Office, Adobe, ServiceNow, JIRA, IFS, MkDocs, GitHub, GitLab, Confluence, Camtasia, JAMA, SharePoint, WordPress, Markdown, HTML, XML, and more, and work with CMMC/NIST SP 800-54/NIST SP 800-171 cybersecurity standards.
