About Dirk Corsus

Technology executive with global multi-disciplinary expertise in all areas of product development and adjacent functions. Excellent success in building start-up teams or very large teams; developing high tech systems, SW Apps or consumer electronics. An established track record, putting together teams and structures to tackle complex challenges. Very often we see individuals and teams run at lightspeed to experience a project progress to be somewhat sequential or rife with dependencies that slow down progress significantly. I run teams as much as possible in parallel and structure projects and their deliverables to keep dependencies minimal or only let them happen after significant risk reduction. It means that individuals or teams contribute to the progress of their colleagues as much as to their own progress, perhaps delivering early SW drop or put early HW development protos in the hands of SW or QA teams. No two projects should be constructed the same.It has shown its strength when I was a key member of Alcatel's entry in the routing space, building their first router, or as the head of the group that established Alcatel's dominance in the optical access space; delivering Infinera's flagship optical transport solutions; or building the world's first smart contact lenses.

Listed skills include Telecommunications, Product Management, Ip, Voip, and 45 others.
