Managing and running the Ada-Europe international non-profit organization, including organizing the annual Ada-Europe conferences.Ada-Europe is an international organization, set up to promote the use of Ada. It aims to spread the use and the knowledge of Ada and to promote its introduction into academic and research establishments. Above all, Ada-Europe intends to represent European interests in Ada and Ada-related matters.

Representing the European Ada community in the ISO working group managing the Ada programming language standard, through Ada-Europe which is a Category C Liaison to WG9.

Elected officer in the Executive Committee of ACM's Special Interest Group on the Ada programming language.Position: international representative.

Member of the Editorial Board and responsible for the Conference Calendar and Forthcoming Events sections.The Ada User Journal aims to inform readers of developments in the Ada programming language and its use, general Ada-related software engineering issues and Ada-related activities in Europe and other parts of the world. The language of the journal is English.

The Ada User Journal is celebrating its 30th Anniversary, and, among other initiatives, the Journal will dedicate its Anniversary Issue to re-print selected papers from its 30-year history. The intent of this initiative is to offer our readership a sample of the papers that may be considered to have had the most impact and relevance at the time of publication, in the several incarnations of the Journal (Ada UK News, Ada-Europe News, Ada User and Ada User Journal).

Managing and running the Ada-Belgium non-profit organization.The purpose of Ada-Belgium is to be a forum for persons and organizations interested in the Ada programming language, in its applications and in Ada related technologies such as software engineering methods, environments and tools. Ada is a modern programming language designed for large, long-lived applications where reliability, efficiency and safety are critical. It's the technology to consider for mission-critical software.

Working on the Flight Planning Systems (IFPS) at Eurocontrol NMD in Brussels, Belgium (NMD = Network Manager Division, formerly known as CFMU = Central Flow Management Unit). Also working on static analysis of Eurocontrol's backend systems (IFPS and ETFMS), written in Ada, to maintain and improve quality.

Working on the CCAMS project at Eurocontrol CFMU in Brussels, Belgium.The Centralised SSR Code Assignment and Management System (CCAMS) implementation project is a pan-European solution to overcome the current and future shortages of the SSR codes used by Air Traffic Control for radar services.

Working on the migration of both the local and federal police applications to a common unique platform.

Working on the CANAC Upgrade Project at Belgocontrol in Steenokkerzeel, Belgium (now Skeyes). Migration of the CANAC Air Traffic Control System from a Data General platform with the ROLM Ada 83 compiler to a PC/Linux platform with the GNAT Ada 95 compiler.
