In a changing world with increasing need for smart solutions for logistics & e-commerce, the Dutch IT firm IB-Vision is perfectly positioned to provide their services to a broad audience.Having been a close business partner of IB-Vision for the past 20 years and having jointly developed and provided products for the Aviation Industry, 2021 was the right time to join forces. In my current position of commercial director I am focused on expanding the general software development business and identifying new areas of value creation, particularly in air cargo.As such, during 2021 we have welcomed recent air cargo's highest climber Kalitta Air for global track & tracing of their shipments through our platform Cargo Network Manager and in 2022 will be deploying phase 2 with interactive client and status communication.In e-commerce we are currently combining latest technology in virtual storytelling with our e-commerce solution to provide state of art virtual shopping experience in times when physical interaction remains challenging.

Cargo Network Manager (CNM) was developed in 2016 for the GSA Inter Aviation Services to serve as a fully web-based tool for capturing shipment information with the purpose of creating the flight manifest and meeting requirements for AMS filing.With the capture and systematic creation of booking, shipment, flight and importantly also status information, throughout the past years a number of ancillary tools such as financial reporting have evolved from the core functionality.The CNM platform is currently also used by Kalitta Air and its partners for capturing and reporting Track & Trace information of its global air cargo shipments.

Seabury, now part of Accenture, is the leading independent transportation-focused advisory firm serving aviation, aerospace, cargo and maritime on a global basis.In this role had commercial responsibility for Seabury’s comprehensive and up-to-date demand and supply information product portfolio. The trade, capacity, traffic & express data is considered the industry’s best with a depth of analytics necessary to support rapid decision making.

Responsible for the global commercial operations of the Community Integration & eCargo portfolio, reporting directly to the VP, Global Commercial Operations (GCO) as a member of the Senior Management Team within GCO.As such I managed our sales team, responsible for all pre-sales activity, managing bids and opportunities and their associated processes, as well as conducting commercial calculations, and negotiating on final sign-off procedures.

- Managed and led the Cargo division, with responsibility for the divisions profit and loss accounts- Defined and implemented a market expansion strategy, launching the core product portfolio in identified growth markets- Integrated global sales team into the division to ensure correct and market focus and efficient pipeline management at all times- Successfully restructured and expanded the cargo team to enable future company growth- Delivered a replacement technology platform for the core product group- Integrated the cargo capability of UBM companies and building on synergies to maximise values achieved

- Analysed future potential markets, products and alliances as part of producing a strategic direction for the company- Successfully launched a new cargo portfolio in Singapore, Hong Kong and India, as well as key partner relationships and implementing the global rate management for global customers including Martinair Cargo and Kuehne & Nagel

- Founded and managed the organisation Inforwarding within the airline cargo marketplace serving 7 European countries- Provided internet services that enabled airline cargo teams to more effectively communicate with freight forwarding customers, sharing urgent operational news such as cancellations, promoting new routes, offers and marketing promotions- Developed a rates communication platform in order to communicate real time cargo rate data to customers

- Liaised with customers, operations and management in order to identify requirements and translate them into improvements with internal processes. Successfully produced an additional $1.5m in revenue- Devised, developed and implemented a new hub for cargo consolidation, including implementing a new revenue management tool to provide visibility to the savings which could be achieved in air freight
