When Siemens acquired CD-adapco, integrated the engineering activities of CD-adapco with the existing Siemens Engineering competencies into a global worldwide organisation, built around competence centers, test facilities and close-to-customer regional centers. With the integrated team, Simcenter Engineering supports worldwide leading companies with consultancy, engineering and testing in a large area of performance engineering, comfort, fuel economy, thermal management, mechatronics development using a combination of testing and simulation. Supported the acquisition of Tass International to expand the offer into driver assistance systems and autonomous driving engineering.

SIEMENS acquired LMS International in January 2013. Transformed and integrated the legacy LMS Engineering activities into SIEMENS. Expanded the offering by expanding the offer to align with the fuel economy and energy management needs of the automotive, transportation and heavy equipment industries. Build business case and realized new facilities and offering.

Initiated the Flanders' DRIVE network as an association of the Flemish Automotive industry. Developed a cooperation and funding framework with support from Flemish and European support.Initially chairman of the board,Continued as board member and chairman of industry council.Actively pursued the merger with FMTC to create a larger research and innovation center Flanders' MAKE
