- Performed quantitative measurements and applied mathematical & computational-modeling approaches to analyze the dynamics of a negative feedback loop involved in bacterial stress response.- Designed segregation assay based on post-division single-cell variability, to reveal widespread protein localization artifacts caused by fluorescent proteins. My results challenged long-standing notions in the field and overturned previously published findings.- Co-invented & contributed to the development of a microfluidic microscopy-based system for FACS-like high-throughput imaging of microbial cells with single-molecule detection (pending US Patent Application No.: 14/427,256). - Collaborated with scientists at New England Biolabs (NEB) regarding novel protein localization measurement tools.
