Reporting to the Engineering & Test Centre Manager I have been involved in Cost Saving activities for vehicle gear transmission cables. I have developed concepts using Catia V5, including basic Catia FEA, order and evaluated SLS parts. In close relationship with the Production-Team we finalise the concept, ordered the prototype tool for the plastic components and tested the part successfully.For an OEM I have been involved in developing a Window Regulator mechanism in the vehicle door enclosure. Closely worked together with the customer/internal departments and toolmakers. Taken the project from concept straight into production tooling. Creating 3D models and drawings using Catia V5 for steel and plastic components. Using Enovia as part of the internal release process. Designed the fixtures for the Prototype Builds, Environmental testing, Metrology and supported Production Fixture design. Using DFMA principles ensured smooth and rapid transition from the design phase to production phase. The Project has been successfully past the PPAP process. Start Project December 2015 handed over to the Production team July 2017.

I was responsible to manage multi million pounds of metal to metal connections projects to the Oil & Gas Industry. A project contains multiple sub projects with 2nd and 3rd tier suppliers to the main customer. Managing directly two Project Controllers and assigned tasks to other departments and set milestones. Monitor the progress and react to any changes. I represented the company in front of customers during project meetings. Created quotes by analysing the customer requirements in close relationship with engineering, production and procurement department. I worked closely together with the Freudenberg sales team in Malaysia and Norway. Developed Project Inspection Test Plans (ITP), customer timing plans and initiated other departments to work to the project milestones. I supported the activities of Project Controllers to achieve their objectives with a proactive, leading by example management style.
