Protact is polymer coated packaging steel, Tata Steel's answer to the BPA containing food packagings. Since 2016 our polymer sheet production facility is life, and in 2017 the Lamination Line will follow. This results in mass capacity for polymer coated steel in Europe, which will be the new standard for making food cans. As one of the two Production Managers of these new production lines, it is our task to develop and train an operating team that will achieve full and stable production for Tata Steel to become world market leader of polymer coated packaging steel.
