Supervised field monitoring and evaluation activities for nutrition projects (700 staffs) and ensured development of a cohesive and high performing team. 4. Carried out monthly field visits to oversee/support partners' activities, conducted physical inventories, data analysis and reconciliation. 5. Using WFP tools:• Documented all our beneficiaries, provided a credible data analysis and achieved food delivery planned on-time with "scope software".• Assessed accurately the food produced by farmers in 120 communities, the amount of cash distributed to farmers, and the food supplied in 3 counties ("Home Grown School Feeding" - HGSF) with the "school inventory form", • Led teams in conducting needs assessments and developing project proposals for funding.1280 schools and a total of 3400 students are on food assistance programme. • Managed food distribution programs in emergency response operations with the "Cooperating Partner Distribution Report". 50 tons of food supplied were saved compared to previous years.6. Developed and implemented capacity-building training programs for community health workers on balanced food basket and food ration. Provided technical assistance and support to field staff in program planning and implementation.

The "2018 Comprehensive Food Security and Nutrition Survey" was conducted to assess the state of food security in the country and enabled design specific programme.Contributed to the development of policies and strategies to improve food security and nutrition outcomes. The "national nutrition policy" reviewed and launched under the funding of "Scale Up Nutrition" (SUN/REACH) to improve lives of communities. Designed and implemented food security and nutrition surveys for vulnerable populations. Analyzed data collected from surveys to identify trends and patterns in food insecurity and malnutrition.The "regional joint mission" for markets monitoring to access the price of food commodities and identify affecting factors. This reduced the commodities' price and enabled affordability by communities.2. Conducted trainings on food security and nutrition for communities and local organizations. Trained the local staff to enhance the day-to-day performance on computer (Word, PowerPoint, excel), presentation skills and proposal writing. 3. As Head of the Nutrition Department, I supported youth groups to enhance environment and health through 4 youth programmes that I developed and managed and were funded by the KRCS and its development partners. • A monthly tree planting project that yielded a total 12000 trees planted in 10 communities over a period of 2 years with a budget of $1000.• A project to help communities fight soil erosion and improve its quality with natural fertilizers for harvest improvement.• A youth farming project in 5 communities to help generate income and ensure food security. 2000 youths were trained on sustainable agriculture techniques and 300 ha of land provided by the communities to grow cereals and vegetables (greens, tomatoes, onions). The project was implemented with a total budget of $500.000.• A project on HIV infected and elderly people to improve their lifestyle. We trained them on artwork and chicken farming and market development to help sell their products. 10 “elderly homes” were involved with a total of 200 workers. 2. I provided facilitation support to international and national training/conferences as a translator/interpreter assisting French delegates to easily communicate and improve meeting outcomes. 3. Through trainings, discussions and round table meetings, I strengthened linkages with other relevant programmes for maximum impact and optimization of resources. 4. With an improved needs evaluation, I designed a more efficient food distribution plan to slums/communities affected by fire, floods.

I was able to raise a monthly rental income of $30,000 for the organization while staying on its initial mandate.2. I boosted the fundraising department by writing and implementing various community-based projects with positive impact on beneficiary’s life. Through the support of in-country donors, USAID and other International Organizations I was able to raise additional funds for:• Household Economic Strengthening programme (USAID): focused on early childhood development, food security, child and youth, HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment and care. I secured a 2 years funding project, implemented in 5 communities affecting a total of 1000 youth with a total budget of $100.000 • Innovative project (USAID): focused on availability, increase and access to nutritious foods. The project targeted 10 communities for a period of 1 year with 20,000 beneficiaries (a total budget of $300,000). • Health care model programme (European Union): focused on children (under 15) health improvement and their living conditions in rural areas. This project targeted 10 rural areas with a total of 5000 beneficiaries that saw their health and lifestyle drastically improved.• Through the Global Communities’ program and the farmer field school, I supported 216 Internal Saving and Lending Groups (ISGLs) and trained the farmers in agricultural techniques.

I designed a new baby formula, using a new processing technology the “extruder”, that was tested and approved for commercialization at a national level to improve baby’s health. I shared relevant knowledge with donors and media, creating an awareness of our products and therefore improving the marketing department.3. I set up a monitoring/evaluation system to increase unit performance and monitor changes. I reviewed research project concept papers for resource mobilization with in-country donors.4. I trained farmers, youth/women groups in various processing steps and contributed to the advocacy work of the Unit. I provided technical knowledge to production chains (raising quality of the final product), and to packaging and conditioning units.
