Developed, implemented and handled worldwide media relations at GM Europe (face to face interviews, press conferences, releases, kits, Question and Answer policies, motorshows, …) on European corporate issues. Coordinating local Public Relations initiatives in Western Europe.

GM Belgium employed (at that time) 10.000 employees. Handled media relations with economic and regional media, spokesperson of the management, government relations (local and national), developed plant visit-plan for dealers/customers, organized open door days of the plant in 1997 (50.000 visitors), in charge of institutional advertising, cultural sponsoring (Antwerp 1993, Cultural Capital of Europe), managed a team of 5 colleagues.

Advised IT-companies (Wang, NCR, Stratus, Amdahl, ICL, Oracle, …) on communications strategies. Developed media relations plans (face to face interviews, press conferences, releases, kits, trips to USA, Ireland, Germany, …) and created special events (inauguration of new premises, customer and dealer events, conferences in Belgium, UK and Spain, …).
