The former international broadcaster, RNW Media not only shares a huge history with organisations like Deutsche Welle, BBC World Service or VoA, but has turned itself into a social enterprise / start-up / incubator for digital expression for youth, working at the intersection of digital media, tech and international development.

Established in June 2012 in Beirut, Raseef22 started as an infotainment hub for the Arabic language readers across the 22 Arab countries to coincide with Arab spring. As the prospects of prosperity and new civil liberties faded, Raseef22 quickly evolved into a leading platform for civil rights and public interest media in the MENA region. In its tenth year, Raseef22 started consolidating and “institutionalizing”. The strategic relevant role of the „Managing Director“ was created to plan and implement this ambitious Change Management process.
