I have been working in the Customer Service Team (CST), Freight Reservations, of Stena Line BV. Together with my colleagues, I managed the sailings on the North Sea on daily basis. This involved booking accompanied and unaccompanied units for several customer throughout Europe on our Ro-Ro and Ro-Pax vessels. As a Dangerous Goods Advisor IMDG-code I checked the Dangerous Goods Notes (DGN) for the customer if it's possible to ship certain goods on our routes. Since the beginning of my job at Stena Line I'm passionate by learning more and more of the IMDG-code to be even a better advisor. I, as a CST-employee, am the first contact for the customer when it comes to questions about a booking, creating a booking or assisting with abnormal load forms and DGN's.

Colourful Trips offers a wide range of day trips out of Sydney. The customers of Colourful Trips are youth travelers and students. One of my duties was to book day trips for the B2B and B2C market by phone. It made me strengthen my English language skills massively by having conversations through out the day with people all over the world. Besides that I have gone on various day trips to assist the tour guide and learn several tour management skills. As a Marketing Intern I got the full responsibility to manage the Google Adwords pages. It was a perfect and practical learning process to apply Search Engine Optimizing (SEO) and Search Engine Advertising (SEA) theories into reality. Creating blogs about the day trips was something I did as well, after having experienced it myself.
