At AmeriGas Propane, Dirk assured utilization of cylinder assets by monitoring and controlling stocking levels at all branches within region and accommodated cylinder needs through excess cylinder stock or by creating capital investment. He maintained safety and quality standards for production and distribution through communication, audited follow up, training, and enforcement of procedures and regulations. Dirk executed 5S methodology to production facilities resulting in cost reduction, higher quality, increased productivity, employee satisfaction, and safe work environment. Dirk managed customer service of over 15,000 corporate clients comprising Home Depot, Wal-Mart, Publix, Dollar General, Circle K, and 7-Eleven. He also supervised hurricane operations by providing 20-pound propane cylinders to areas affected by hurricanes and coordinated emergency management.
