As an experienced IT professional with over 20 years of experience in the commercial sector, I am looking to apply my expertise in the public sector to improve the way government institutions handle their IT operations. One of my key goals is to implement the use of cloud computing in government to increase efficiency and resource usage, as well as to support the digitalization of government services. My target is reducing the data center costs by %50 by the use of the privately owned and operated data centers.

As a Presales Manager, my responsibility was to lead a team of 8 solution architects that supports the whole sales team in the development and delivery of solutions to potential customers. The areas covered within my scope was;• Information Systems Infrastructure• Data Center Infrastructure, and• Physical Security Systems.My team achieved more than %30 increase in revenues each year. I was closely working with the sales team to identify and qualify opportunities, and then leading my team in the development of solutions that meet the customer's specific requirements. This included creating and delivering effective presentations and demonstrations, responding to requests for proposals, and providing technical guidance and support throughout the entire sales process. Additionally, I was collaborating with other departments, such as project management, procurement, and engineering, to ensure that the proposed solutions align with the customer's overall requirements and expectations. I was also in charge of creating and managing the budget, forecasting sales, and ensuring customer satisfaction at all times.

As a Senior Project Manager, my responsibilities included leading cross-functional teams and overseeing third-party contractors to ensure successful delivery of projects within budget, on time, and to the satisfaction of the customer. I was accountable for developing and implementing comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation. In addition, I managed and mentored junior project managers and team members, motivating them to achieve project goals. I also played a key role in preparing bid documents for large, complex projects. I successfully prepared the winning tender document for the "Presidency of Defence Industries" (SSB) project, defined the project specific project management plan process flows, and executed the project until the first acceptance.

As a Systems Infrastructure Unit Manager, I was responsible for leading and managing a team of system engineers, who were responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the customer’s IT infrastructure. I was responsible for managing the design, deployment, and maintenance of servers, storage, and databases, as well as managing the budget and resources for the unit. I led and mentored team members, providing guidance and direction to ensure they met their individual and project-based objectives. I also provided resources for managed services and delivered support to the Central Appointment System (MHRS) of the Ministry of Health. Additionally, I managed and maintained vendor relationships, negotiating contracts and service level agreements, and during my tenure, we achieved "HP Server Gold Partner", "HP Storage Gold Partner" and "EMC Storage Silver Partner" levels from scratch.

As a Network Team Leader, my responsibility was to lead the network team in the design, implementation, and maintenance of Türk Telekom Tivibu Headend network. I was responsible for ensuring the stability and security of the network by troubleshooting and resolving any issues that may arise. My role included identifying and addressing problems in the systems at Tivibu, planning and implementing solutions, reorganizing physical plans, optimizing network level in IPTV, Web TV platforms, and eliminating bottlenecks. I managed network operations and was responsible for creating and managing the budget for network infrastructure investments.

Acting as the Gayrettepe Data Center Project Manager, I played a key role in achieving Turkey's first Design Certification of a Data Center Project. I collaborated closely with experts in electromechanical and civil engineering to develop a comprehensive solution that met the Uptime Institute and TIA-942 standards. Through this effort, I reached a significant milestone by obtaining the first Uptime Institute Tier III Data Center Design certificate for the Gayrettepe Data Center. This accomplishment speaks to my ability to lead complex projects and work with a diverse team of experts to achieve a common goal.

As a deputy manager of Turk Telekom Ümitköy Data Center, my responsiblity was managing the day-to-day IT operations with 30 direct reports and a budget of approximately 5 million USD. I collaborated with TTNET, Türk Telekom's ISP subsidiary, to offer additional services to broadband customers. Additionally, I managed the integration of projects with telco grade user base and high availability requirements. My responsibilities included ensuring smooth operation of IT and leading the team to make sure that the projects were completed on schedule and within budget constraints.

As a Network Engineer, my responsibility was maintaining and troubleshooting the network infrastructure in the data center, including core switches, load balancers, and firewalls. This includes ensuring that the network is running efficiently, resolving any issues that arise, and implementing security measures to protect against cyber threats.
