Head of Environmental Physics Laboratory.Head of Master in Acoustical Engineering, University of Granada.Main researcher in several projects involving noise modelling and target recognition.In the teaching aspect, he has taught in the Degrees of Physics, Environmental Science, Telecommunications Engineering, Building Engineering and Architecture. He has been professor in Higher Diploma courses o Masters such as “Master Expert in Occupational Risk Prevention” conducted by the Andalusian Foundation for Training and Employment, “Expert on Health and Safety at work Construction” and “Expert in Occupational Health and Safety (Workplace Safety specialty)” at the University of Granada. He has also taught and conducted Master Thesis in the Masters of “Environmental Engineering" “Assessment and Management of Noise Pollution, "" Methods and Advanced Techniques in Physics ","Comprehensive Security in Buildings " and "Prevention Occupational Hazard” all from the University of Granada. He is currently responsible for research lines in the Doctoral Programs "Safety, Quality and Infrastructure Optimization Resources and Environmental Relations", "Civil Engineering" or "Physics and Space Sciences". He has also participated or coordinated seven teaching innovation projects or actions to improve teaching qualifications.

Diego Pablo Ruiz Padillo. Degree in Physics (Electronics) and Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Granada. He is currently Professor at the University of Granada in the Applied Physics Department. His teaching and research focuses on the characterization, analysis and control of physical pollutions (noise, vibration, and radiation) as well as prediction and statistical modeling of data for environmental impact assessment. Currently he is the coordinator of Environmental and Physical Acoustics Laboratory and the Interuniversity Master in Environmental and Acoustic Engineering.In his role as a researcher, he has led or participated in over 17 research projects financed by public competitive calls. For example, it highlights the excellence projects entitled: "Development and Implementation of New Bayesian Techniques (BT) with applications in Communications and Automatic Recognition of Radar Targets" and "Optimization of Production and Logistics of Pellets produced from Woody Agricultural Wastes and its Domestic and Industrial Heating Application" or the national research projects " Computational Inference Techniques Applied to Noise Pollution and Modeling of Thermal and Lightning Characteristics of Components in Buildings and Highways " or "Application of biomass from waste generated in agriculture in Andalusia for the production of pellets and their use in the energy sector" . He is author of more than 50 research papers in ISI journals and over 100 conference contributions. Among the journals that have been published over the past 5 years include "Digital Signal Processing" "Computational Statistics & Data Analysis" "Building And Environment" "Transportation Research Part D: Transport And Environment". Finally he has been director or principal investigator of 14 R & D Contracts with companies or public institutions. In the field of technology transfer it highlights the creation of two spin-off companies in the University of Granada.
