Deputy Division Director And Group Leader – Infrastructure Engineering
CurrentServe as the Group Leader and work package manager for the Electron-Ion-Collider Project (EIC) Infrastructure Engineering functional area at a U.S. Department of Energy national laboratory.Manage the deliverables, schedule, and budget for the civil/structural conventional facilities for the EIC project which includes the design and construction of industrial support buildings housing accelerator support equipment, site preparation, and equipment tunnels at a total project cost of $130 million.Provide oversite and manage the development of project deliverables in accordance with Department of Energy Orders, Guides and Standards, including procurement documents, risk assessments, detailed estimates for WBS work packages, construction schedules, and design documents.Monitor the design work of third-party engineering contractors with respect toconformance with codes, standards, specifications, and laboratory procedures.Lead and provide the tactical direction to several committees and initiatives including the EIC Diversity, Equity & Inclusion council and the EIC Minority and Women Business Enterprises contracting committee.
