Hi! My name is Disha Panchal and I am a Senior at the Rutgers Business School where I am majoring in Accounting. Accounting comes very easily and authentically to me. In Freshman year of high school we were required to take a Personal Finance class in order to graduate, in this class I noticed that I was naturally drawn to the material being taught.The following year I kept that in mind and figured Accounting would be similar to the material taught in Personal Finance and I was right! I fell in love with the concepts of Accounting, the way I was drawn to it and the way that everything made sense conceptually. After this I knew accounting was right for me! Now here I am, 5 years later, a previous Audit Intern for Rutgers University and KPMG and a tax intern for EY.I was also a Teaching Assistant for Dr. Malone for her Companion Animal Science class because I've had a genuine interest in companion animals since I was a kid. It was wonderful having the experience to get a new perspective from the class by assisting the professor instead of being a student. On campus I am involved in BAP, RUWIB, and RUAA.
