Disini Nimethma is an accomplished entrepreneur hailing from the vibrant landscapes of southern Sri Lanka. She is pursuing her undergraduate degree in a BA (Hons) in Management and Leadership program offered by Coventry University in England.Disini is the co-founder of iGrow, a visionary agricultural startup based in Sri Lanka. Her mission with iGrow is to address the pressing global food crises while uplifting local communities and working towards a more sustainable and thriving society.Beyond her entrepreneurial pursuits, Disini Nimethma also serves as a valued leadership team member at the iGrow Academy. This innovative social venture focuses on grassroots innovation, skills development, and entrepreneurship to support underserved and war-affected communities in Sri Lanka.In addition to her professional commitments, Disini has dedicated herself to a wide range of community projects to catalyse positive change at the grassroots level. Her passion for community development is further exemplified by her achievement as a President's Guide Awardee, the highest honour within the Girl Guide Association.Disini is deeply committed to the belief that empowering communities at the grassroots level, focusing on women, is the key to fostering sustainable growth and promoting economic inclusivity within her country.
