About Disney Williams, M.A.

To get in contact: dwilliams2408@gmail.comI'm a Justice, Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging (JEDIB) program manager with eight years of experience driving strategic initiatives for equitable outcomes. I have been recognized for my leadership and commitment to advancing gender and racial equity, earning the Cobell Scholarship for my contributions. I've managed programs at nonprofits like Planned Parenthood Great Northwest and Sealaska Heritage Institute, where my work focused on developing and assessing inclusive education programs, training educators, and building partnerships that prioritize historically excluded communities, especially BIPOC and LGBTQ+ youth from rural backgrounds.Outside work, I'm a competitive triathlete who qualified for the Ironman 70.3 World Championships. I use data to optimize both my athletic performance and equity initiatives. Whether analyzing race stats or program metrics, I leverage numbers to drive improvement. I tackle every challenge with the same determination and strategic mindset I bring to races.I'm passionate about continuous learning and sharing knowledge to create a more just society. I've led workshops and developed training to address biases, promote inclusivity, and create workplace cultures of belonging. My goal is to drive meaningful change, contributing to an equitable future. Whether I’m managing programs for equity-centered initiatives or crossing the finish line at an Ironman, I’m fueled by a desire to make an impact and push boundaries both in the workplace and on the race course.Endorsements:"She blazed a path for integrating equity & inclusion within our work in the communities, and helped our staff identify how to better incorporate important aspects into our lesson plan creation and education delivery to be reflective of the communities we serve." - Paige Mac Leod, Interim VP of Education and Capacity Building Strategist PPGHNAIK" She took a strong lead on the BIPOC caucus for the department and created a system from scratch to gather and catalogue community feedback for our I&E committees in each of our 6 states gathering meaningful feedback from each community we serve." - Carrie-Meghan Quick-Blanco, Director of Education PPGNHAIKSpecialties:Diversity, Equity, Inclusion Best Practices | Training Facilitation and Development | Strategic Planning | Employee Engagement | Stakeholder Engagement | Community-Based Participatory Research | Liberatory Design | Cultural Humility and Responsiveness | Adult Learning Theory
