Developed Ontario's new centralized Integrated Cancer Screening program, Ministry of Health and Long Term Care (MOHLTC) in collaboration with Cancer Care Ontario (CCO).The main goal of the program is to reduce mortality from Colo-rectal, Breast and Cervical cancer through a screening program and to improve the capacity of primary care to participate in comprehensive cancer screening.• Analyzed, designed, developed and maintained the ETL process for the HUB (Main data repository) and Reports DataMarts for the program in order to produce comprehensive reports on the performance of the program and analytic. The DataMarts are also used to generate metrics of the impact of Colorectal, Breast and Cervical cancer screening.• Developed an In-House Operational Metrics WorkFrame to detect anomalies in Data Volumes and Execution RunTimes of the HUB and DataMarts. (Java, Perl and Shell scripts)• Developed fully functional prototypes (POC) to allow different data acquisition methods to the corporate Data Submission Portal system.Environment: Solaris/Linux, Java, Perl, Korn/Bash Shell, Informatica 10.1 (ETL Tool), Oracle 11g/12c, Team Foundation Server, Toad. - Developed a set of scripts to verify the Data Migration from an existing system in SQL Server 2000 to a new data model in Oracle 10g. The new data model uses a Staging area to load several sources data files into the Database to perform the ‘Extraction, Transformation and Loading’ (ETL) process to populate the Target tables. The Data Migration verification process uses that Staging area to count, check and aggregate data to be compared against Target tables.- Analyzed different sources data files to check the quality of the data and performed statistics on the data to understand its distribution and frequencies.- Resolved issues in Business Reports using SQL queries to simulate Cognos Reports.- Performed Regression tests for Business Reports defined in Cognos Reports.Technical Environment: SunOS Unix 5.10, Informatica 7.1.4 (ETL Tool), SQL Server 2000, Oracle 10g, Cognos v8 Report Tool, Mercury Quality Center 9.2

Developed and maintained the ‘Extraction, Transformation and Loading’ (ETL) process of multiple sources to the ‘Standard Staging’ and ‘Marketing’ Data Warehouses for Harris Bank in Chicago, USA.Created many tools in Shell Script and Perl to improve the efficiency of the development process, which were used regularly by the whole project team.The ETL process was developed using Ab-Initio ETL tool and supported using Shell, Perl and Awk scripts and some Java programs. The processes and programs required to be very well defined and optimized to handle huge volume of data (current and 4 years history). A scheduler system was used to define the sequence of execution and dependencies between processes.Technical Environment: AIX Unix, Ab-Initio (ETL Tool), DB2 UDB v8.2, Shell, Perl, Awk, Java, PVCS.

Led a group of eight (8) software engineers to design and develop the main Decision Support System (DSS) and Data Warehouse for Telecom Argentina, one of the two major telecommunication services companies of Argentina, part of France Telecom. The group of engineers analyzed the Marketing requirements, re-design the metadata and modify the existing procedures and processes to handle the information according to the changes.In charge of the transformation and analysis of the 'Calling Detail Record' of telephone calls country wide. Developed the ETL tools and utilities to analyze the information and do the data bulk load into the Data Warehouse.The system was programmed in C, Pro*C, OCI, PL/SQL and various script languages.Technical Environment: Dec Alpha, Oracle 7, Oracle 8i, SQL*Loader, Toad.

Led a team of three (3) developers to develop applications for Smart Cards and INGENIGO P.O.S.T. (Point Of Sales Terminals). All the interfaces and applications to be run on Linux were written in C and C++, and the ones for Windows were written in Visual C++.Technical Environment: Linux, Windows 95, Ingenico Hardware, SmartCards.

Designed and developed UNIX Device Drivers for DigiCom IVR. The drivers used TPC/IP and shared memory for IPC, and use an Oracle Database as backend. The system was programmed in C and C++ and the interface with Oracle was programmed in Pro*C.Technical Environment: SCO Unix, DigiCom IVR Hardware, Oracle 7.

Led a team of three (3) software engineers and one user interface designer to create applications for P.O.P. & P.O.S. (Point of Promotions and Point of Sales) using Touch Screen technology for Unilever Argentina, Easy Home Center, McKinsey & Co., Lipton Ice Tea among others.Developed the access control and student assistance control for one of the largest universities of Argentina (UADE University). The software was written in C, C++ and Perl, run on SCO Unix and used C-Isam as database engine.
