Provided leadership for one of the largest global Bosch IT-projects with fiscal budget responsibility for $30 million. Initiated and monitored by the Board of Management, the project focused on the standardization of hardware development processes for electronic control devices. - Supervised a project team of 50 employees and coordinated external consultants and suppliers. - Appointed as lead of “IT architecture competence team” to standardize the Bosch IT.- Analyzed/systematized IT environments used in the product creation process including the interaction with production logistic processes. - Publicized IT architecture guidelines and conducted reviews with engineering executives.- Contracted/instituted regional support centers in Europe, Americas and Asia/Pacific for the engineering disciplines mechanic, software and electronic. - Coached/mentored employees in USA, Japan, Australia, India and various European countries.- Designed/established central IT services for software configuration management solutions and coordinated the introduction into business sectors. More than 3000 software engineers in Europe, Americas and Asia/Pacific follow the re-designed software engineering processes. - Established business relationships with IT suppliers MatrixOne (Enovia), IBM, PTC, Zuken, and various resource sub-contracting companies (Harvey Nash, Randstad, ...).
