As Lean Project Manager (expert) in the Lean/GSE department in Grundfos my responsibilities include:- In-depth analysis of processes and value streams with the purpose of identifying waste and discovering improvement potential- Lean project management of cross-departmental projects (including scoping, development of A3 and TIP, analysis of savings, stakeholder engagement, process confirmation, escalation etc.)- Development and coaching of managers in Lean behavior and the use and implementation of Lean tools- Definition of standards in GSE (Grundfos Shopfloor Excellence); including publication of GSE handbook- Giving lectures/classroom sessions within Lean topics- Composing and carrying out Lean culture/tool implementation assessment in Grundfos factories in Europe

As Project Manager at Fjero A/S - a Danish manufacturer of high-quality hydraulic cylinders for the wind energy and offshore industries - I had the responsibility for planning, coordinating and communicating internal improvement and optimisation projects. Moreover, I worked with analysing internal processes with the purpose of identifying potential improvement areas. The projects for which I was the Project Manager were dispersed over all departments of the organisation and included optimisation of production processes as well as processes in the administrative core. LEAN, reduction of waste and creation of an optimum flow of products and information were important elements of many of the projects.

I conducted my Master Thesis in collaboration with LEGO A/S.
